Apple Balsamic Vinegar (refill)

Name: Apple  Balsam Vinegar


Provenance/origin: Waldburg (Germany)


Acidity: 6%


Composition:  Fermented vinegar made from concentrated apple juice, added to white wine balsam vinegar.


Taste: Rich and full flavour.  Not too sharp.


Uses: Salad dressings; mix with the Extra Virgin olive oil and orange for cooking duck.


Recommended for? People who like rare and unusual dressings. Ideal for summer salads especially rocket salads or fish dishes, a must for a Tuna salad.

Calamansi Balsamic Vinegar (refill)

Name: Calamansi Balsamic Vinegar


Provenance/origin: Waldburg

Acidity: 7.5%

Composition: wine vinegar and 43% of Calamansi juice .

Taste: Very exotic flavour.

Uses: Salad dressings and for sauces, and even as an aperitif.


Recommended for? People who want to add an exotic touch to their salads.

Grape Balsamic Vinegar - White Wine (refill)

Name: Grape Balsamic Vinegar (White Wine Vinegar)

Composition: Fermented vinegar made from grape juice.


Taste: Rich and strong.


Uses: Salad dressings made with the Special and Extra Virgin olive oils, together with either lemon, basil or rosemary. Can be used for grilling fish.


Recommended for? Everyday use. Together with delicate olive oil or germ oil this mild vinegar can be used for fresh salads and seafood, but also for lettuce.

Honey Balsamic Vinegar (refill)

Name: Honey Balsamic Vinegar


Provenance/origin: Waldburg, Germany

Composition: "Specialty vinegar from forest flower honey and honey vinegar.

Uses: This shimmering golden-brown vinegar will add a harmonious honey note to marinades and salad dressings.

Our advice: you can even enjoy it as a non-alcoholic aperitif."

Composition:  Fermented vinegar made from concentrated mango juice added to white wine balsam vinegar.


Taste: Rich and strong flavour, good balance between acidity and sweet flavours. Rich and exotic, a real curiosity


Uses: Can be used for marinating fish. Ideal for all Asian cooking. This vinegar can also be mixed with our chilli oil to get a spicy and fruity salad dressing.


Recommended for? People who have exotic tastes and who like to try something new. Excellent to marinate chicken and fish.

Peach Balsamic Vinegar (refill)

WALDBURG Balsamic Peach

Vinegar specialty from peach vinegar with peach pulp

We use aromatic, smooth peach pulp from Italy in this fruity creation from our own vinegar producing facility. It works well in dressings for leaf lettuces together with a mild olive or nut oil. It can also be a tasty addition to marinades for white meats, poultry and game, and it can be used in sauces, fruit salad, ice cream, fruity desserts or with mild cheeses.

Acidity: 5 %

Our tip: Use it as an aperitif by itself or with cold mineral water.

Pear Balsamic Vinegar (refill)

Vinegar speciality from pear vinegar and thickened pear juice

Thickened pear juice blended with pear vinegar are the basic essentials of the IL GUSTO Company’s own vinegar balsam creation. With its amber shades, fruity flavor and a light characteristic acerbity this vinegar speciality goes very well with rapeseed, walnut, sun flower or avocado oils dressing any butterhead or red oak leaf lettuce.
One of our favorites: Diluted with mineral water the pear vinegar balsam makes a delicious, refreshing drink.
